I was just thinking about the summer we just spent in the 1000 Islands and I thought I’d post a few photos. Some of the photos I took below are nice DSLR images and others are just plain old cell phone pics. In the summer the river is warm and the people are even warmer. I can’t wait to go back!

… and just like that it was Fall

Dorothy and I are now in Florida

We drove down to Florida poking along the East Coast of the United States. We’re planning to spend December in the Florida Keys and we’re super pumped about it. After that we’ll head West along the Southern United States until we hit California and then head North and be back in Canada early spring 2012. Then maybe Alaska and Iceland but we’re not sure about that part yet!

The RV itself is running great and we’ve done some serious mods to upgrade her systems. We added solar panels, installed an inverter, setup unlimited mobile broadband, added a amplifier to boost broadband signal strength, and added an external antenna which also helps keep the connectivity alive when we’re far from the grid. I might make a post or a video about all the upgrades.

In other news, I just updated this website! Hopefully this site will be easier to use with larger pictures and more readable text. Next up I’m going to upgrade my photography school.
