Enimen Mosh Anti Bush Video Download .mpeg .mpg
Download the Eminem Mosh video here. ~47 MB (MOV) Its quite entertaining. Or get a torrent…
OOH OOH IPOD IPOD. Wow blogs are like Apple commercials! Why can’t they just make the damn thing a video player and a cell phone / pda / uber device with like a petabyte? Kottke says this: “Conceivably you could do crude movies with them…play an mp3 soundtrack as you scroll slowly through the frames of the film.” Which I found to be interesting. And yes this has nothing to do with Zach Braff’s blog. I just like sending out random trackbacks to see if people actually use em / know what they even are…
Delicious Library looks most awesome.

Readers and other naive thoughts
My propaganda:
Well ever since I’ve had this Chatango thing I’ve been feeling pretty good about the ridiculous amount of time I’ve spent on my blog. This little chat box (lower left) allows me to chat with people who are dropping by the site. I’ve met some interesting folks who’ve admitted they are “regular readers.” Some of these people have said they’ve “learned about politics” and even “watch less TV.” For little old me hearing that is quite fulfilling. The notion that people actually get something from my humble little bloggy is very pleasing. The weird part is that i’ve heard this from more than one cat. The site did like 1000 – 4000 unique visitors yesterday depending on what statistics tracking system I look at. Most of these peeps are just punks google searching this or that and that kinda bums me out. Nonetheless the server logs for my site now show more and more individuals are coming directly to the site. These “readers” just come directly to the site. They’re not not referred by google or other sites. This means people are bookmarking the site and coming back to it directly. I like knowing that in some tiny little way I get to have my say. Thank you readers.
Other people’s propaganda:
Is it just me or is the weeb being flooded with movies being created by peeps just like you and me? I think this is an awesome trend. Whether its that What Barry Says Video or this new one REVOLUTION: WORLD OF EVIL. This is what I’ve been raving about for ages! Its now happening! Videobloggers are taking over! No seriously, I couldn’t be happier with all these folks putting up video that you and I would NEVER see on our TVs. There’s also a ton of people remixing regular old TV. Finally there’s all that regular TV you should have seen but didn’t happen to be watching. Look at this Jon Stewart clip. Ifilm.com has played this clip over 1 million times. That doesn’t include all the people who watched it off the torrents or direct downloads. What does this all mean? Why don’t we ask Bill Gate$. Bill what do you think? “The ideal for many content people would be that they just put their content on the Internet and then they have a direct relationship with the viewer,” Gates said. “That model for low-volume content is the future.” Yes Bill it is. Strongbad voice: TOO BAD MY PVR RUNS ON LINUX BIATCH AND YOU CAN’T CONTROL IT!!!!. Gate$ wants side by side screens and ads which seems ridiculous to me. Then again, this whole internet is turning into “interactive TV” idea is nothing new. What is new in my view is the amount of material that is being created/remixed/mashed-up by john doe internet user. Why am I so interested? I’m interested because people are having their own say and leaning forward. Why should you be interested? The “future computer” that runs your apartment/house/pad/cave will have wonderfully diverse content on it for your to watch/interact/listen/ that came from “cyberspace” and was created for the love not the money. There’s an interesting discussion about this here.
Here’s a few “Radical” videos courtesy of the “internet”:

Geeking out
Jay has a great video blog post about the PVR/TIVO/DVR media box that Dan Melinger has created. It’s fascinating to me because I’m building one of these boxes myself. A friend and I have been doing some tests of various Linux distros to see which we can make jive with Mythtv. As it stands now Mythtv seems to be more myth than tv. Its not because MythTV is not designed well but rather because I/we know very little about Linux. But hey, we’re geeking out and learning bout it.
Melinger uses XP and SageTv which seems to be a much easier solution. I know Dan is very tech based on his thesis paper so I’m sure he chose the XP route for a reason. Maybe he chose XP to test the usability for the masses? He could have just as easily done it in Linux. Whatever.
Why does any of this matter you ask? Is this the future of television/video blogs? TIVO style viewing is not new. What is relatively new is the ability to create a chunk of media and beam it out over the weeb to your tv screen through one of these boxes. How long will it be before you and I share our media alongside the traditional media outlet’s content? Photos/Music/Video on my tv via the weeb using rss enclosures bittorrent etc? Soon? You bet.
If none of this pseudo geek talk makes any sense to you this will. You and I will soon be able to send each other movies/music/pictures and we’ll be able to watch them on our televisions.
I’ll say it again: Lean back meets lean forward media.
More info to come on the boxes we are creating and their unique form factor.

Eminem’s New Video Download .mpeg .mpg and other cool stuff to watch.
Download the Eminem Mosh video here. ~47 MB (MOV) Its quite entertaining. Or get a torrent… Or kazaa it… whatever…
Eventually you’ll all have your PVR’s hooked up to the weeb and they’ll download the latest and greatest material overnight via rss feeds and bittorrent. Until that moment you’ll have to suffer through manually downloading videos and watching them at postage stamp size. To keep your Quicktime needs fulfilled I have some juicy videoage to serve up today.Video blog entry # 0017 must have been the inspiration for Michel Gondry’s latest video entitled Behind for Lacquer. You know, cause Gondry peruses my blog daily… The difference between Gondry’s video and 0017 is that 0017 was shot on a 1 megapixel digital camera and Gondry’s latest looks like a real film timelapse. Oh and also Gondry is a genius and this video is on the bleeding edge of mediocrity. This drive from Montreal (Canada sti caulice) to Florida took like 22 hours of non stop driving for me and a buddy. We just up and decided to hit the road one night before spring break. The trip was most awesome.
A couple of other music videos you can d/l. Eminem’s new Lose It (torrent don’t bother clickin if ya dont know what that is) video and Kanye West’s Workout Video.
For something with a little more bite you should watch the slick motion graphics and “radical” politics in Knife Party’s “What Barry Says“. Its very hiphopera. That otta do ya fine fer now eh. eh.
Obligatoration of the linkage of noteage:

Fresh New Scent.
The little redesign looks better for the unfortunate souls still using Internet Explorer. The “new look” is a little lighter on its feet. She’s more nimble, more street, more gang if you will. Nothing intesting to write about today.
