This SoMo Mobiles site is amazing. It gets right to the heart of the paradox that cell phones represent. Cell phones are designed for social purposes such as communicating. However, cell phones seem to be the most disruptive of devices. Its impossible to avoid the annoying ring-tones, beeping and buzzing of cell phones these days, let alone the annoying conversations that some weird guy is having right in your personal space. How many times have you out and some dood busts out his new phone and is like “check out all my new ring-tones”, proceeding to play out the first few seconds of every ring-tone known to man. I have always said that any noises coming from your cell show that you’re a cell phone rookie. These 5 non-commercial mobile phones were designed to evoke discussion regarding the disruptive and anti-social nature of cellular telephones.
