the postal service posted this note on their site about how they aren’t too happy about that Apple Ad:

It has recently come to our attention that Apple Computers’ new television commercial for the Intel chip features a shot-for-shot recreation of our video for ‘Such Great Heights’ made by the same filmmakers responsible for the original. We did not approve this commercialization and are extremely disappointed with both parties that this was executed without our consultation or consent. -Ben Gibbard, The Postal Service

Africa Mac Store to Bahamas Poolside video chat!
We figured out there was wifi by the pool here in the Bahamas. I sent a text message to my bros phone. He cruised down to the mac store in Johannesburg South Africa and we got a video chat going. This blew my mind because we’re on a tiny little island in the middle of the ocean sitting by the pool on wifi and it all worked well.
So awesome…
