Gadfly, a beautifully restored 1931 34′ Hutchinson Sedan Commuter, glides through the shimmering waters of the Thousand Islands in Ontario, Canada. Built in Alexandria Bay by Hutchinson Boat Works, this antique boat spent her early years exploring the 1000 Islands before relocating to Michigan. In 1994, Gadfly returned to the River when she was generously donated to the Antique Boat Museum. Since then, she has provided countless museum patrons with the unique opportunity to experience the River’s beauty in the secure comfort and style that is the embodiment of her design. A favorite vessel for both day trips and longer excursions to Ottawa and Montreal, Gadfly’s spacious accommodations include a snug cabin and a large open aft cockpit, making her a superb craft for all types of voyages.
