you think it’s just a fad?

i agree with what you said about how it’s the internet on training wheels… but that’s enough for some people.

i was just talking to someone about this yesterday. i’m not particularly interested in myspace, or facebook… any of those programs… but people a couple years younger are really into this stuff (i’m 25), in a similar way that we were into messenger when it first came out. i do agree that myspace won’t get the public attention, and hyper-active news treatment it’s been getting for too much longer.

i think people could progress to blogs, flickr… etc… but, it seems like for people who just want some attention, and easily or who want to make connections they wouldn’t make otherwise… myspace facilitates that.

    no?

myspace certainly does a great job of shoving feedback in your face about how “cool” and “emo” everyone is… so yes, for people just looking for a little pat on the back from their “friends” or looking to “meet” new people its fantastc.

i still think the wheels are going to come off when these teeny boppers realize that myspace is no longer tha shiz
