I guess she’s too shy to post comments.  Maybe if I embarrass her she’ll post a comment now and then.  (Evil laugh)

Yesterday I asked her why she doesn’t comment and she’s like "cause everybody I know looks at the site."

So I’m like who cares?

And she says she doesn’t want to say anything stupid.

And then I tell her about how I say stupid things everyday and I don’t care.

She goes I don’t want to be pressured into commenting.

I’m like its no big deal I just want to see what you think about all the crap I rant about.

She loses interest and goes back to watching her soap opera that I recorded for her on the PVR.

I can’t compete with these soaps man.

Actually, I would be more inclined to comment on your site if you would finish building the PVR and begin recording Young & The Restless! Right now, spread out all over our living room floor are the inner workings of an old pc computer! If I dare put a ‘closed bottle of water’ near any of those pc parts I get an earful. So, Duncan, my love, please please finish this project that has consumed three months of your time, give me our living room back and I will begin posting every day (since apparently it means so much to you!) :-)

    Harsh!

It’s not easy taking an old computer and turning it into a vintage radio that also functions as a Personal Video Recorder.

It is a big deal for me to get you to comment.

There are like tons of people who look at this site and never comment. That bothers me. Its like why are people so afraid to put their 2 cents in?

    Thanks for the comment sweetheart.

It is evident that the t.v. recorder thing is esiential to your relationship. Dunc, get that recording thing going and record Dr. Phil, whilst cleaning my bedroom!

Vintage Radio and PVR in one?! Howd you manage that? I demand photographs and technical information. Are you using some sort of ancient Roberts 200 with the innards stripped out and a mini-itx mobo or something? That would be cool, in fact, as I have a vintage radio, I think I may have to make one……

    No mini-itx motherboard

That would have been the smart sollution

Instead I’m using my old dell’s mobo

The only thing I purchased was a haupauge wintv 350 because it has an mpeg 2 chip on it

The rest is just the innards of my old computer

The radio is a 1935 or so european radio…

I will send pics soon enough
