20D Movie
Rasko Ristic in Patryk Rebisz’s Between You and Me.The entire film Between You and Me was shot using a digital still camera (Canon 20D) in burst mode. The film has a brilliant concept and amazing execution. You can watch it here and read more about it here.

Semacodes are JapanAwesome
I want to go to Japan for a bunch of reasons but mainly because of how advanced they are technologically. Have you ever even heard of a semacode? Essentially it’s a visual barcode. You take a picture of the Semacode with your cameraphone and the phone processes the image and it gives you the URL for something. For example the image on the left is a semacode for the wikipedia entry on Semacodes. (so meta) The image on the right is the Semacode for The Last Minute.Semacodes allow you to do really cool/nerdy things like hit up a videobooth in Japan and have the videos beamed to your video cell phone automagically.
