First and foremost I would like to thank my wife Dorothy for allowing to go all the way to South Africa to shoot this. Thank you sweetie! Second, a huge thank you to Scott London. Couldn’t have done it without you man! You can see Scott’s photos from Afrikaburn here.

Also huge shout out to Monique Schiess, Johan, Steven, T, Saketi, Valentine, and Kevin. Finally thanks to the entire AfrikaBurn community for allowing me to photograph all the things.

These are absolutely perfect you really captured the whole entire feeling. Well done. Beautiful eye and work. Love from Zimbabwe.

  2. A lot of the things I saw you shot from the best possible angle! And then you caught me in exactly the moment, when I walked on the ‘catwalk’ in my Testival suit. Thanks for your work!

I love the pictures at night with the stars in the sky! When I go to Black Rock City one thing I always do is go to the deep Playa at night and kick back, let my eyes adjust to the dark and be amazed by all of the stars that appear! Then when I get back to Seattle….

    • I was not prepared for how majestic the stars would be. In that it was a wonderful surprise and I didn’t have the right photography gear to shoot it properly. Oh well, maybe next year I’ll be ready. If I can go that is.
