This dude was buying rims when he got caught for counterfeitting CDN $100 bills. How fitting… This is such a Canadian story, not only were the crooks and the cops nice to each other, he and his father we’re thinking of buying a Tim Hortons franchise together with the money he made from his fakes. For those of you who aren’t Canadian and addicted to Tim Hortons Coffee (its like crack) Tim Horton’s is almost as Canadian as Hockey… The whole thing just makes me wonder how many people are doing this but flying under the radar you know? Like somewhere in the article it reads the bills this kid was making are “the highest-quality counterfeit currency ever detected” and that makes me think well yeah but the real guys are makin bills that aren’t detected at all… Another thing to note about the article is the fact that it totally neglects the fact that as a Canadian I NEVER USE CASH! Did you know that photoshop prevents you from scanning bills? I tried it (just to see if it was true of course ;) and it totally doesn’t let you. Pretty crazy.
