A dense island of evergreens and deciduous trees floats in stillness on Whitefish Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park. Shot during fall, a few yellow-orange trees begin to shift color, hinting at the seasonal transformation. The glassy water perfectly mirrors the forested shoreline, creating a peaceful, symmetrical reflection. This photograph was shot by Duncan Rawlinson while exploring Ontario’s Algonquin Park.
