Inverted Color Physics

Inverted Color Physics

Duncan Rawlinson created this piece using artificial intelligence to explore color relationships that defy natural order. Fluorescent orange hovers along the upper register while teal climbs upward in defiance of expected weight. Heavy hues float, lighter tones descend, and the entire field operates under rewritten rules of gravity and light. A wedge of red hangs without anchor. A single yellow line marks a descent that no other element follows. The saturated colors push past conventional limits, creating a composition that feels both stable and impossible.
